10.02.05 Public Run - Part I


At the steaming bays, Chet Roberts is working to raise steam in his engine. Some of the activity at the steaming bays, some of the engines are already out on the main line.
Skip Frank in back is about ready with his engine as is Chet. Having our lunch before the run for the Parks' "Wildlife Festival" today.
Emily Kutscher and Linda Harris enjoy their lunch out behind the station. The Hudson has arrived and has been spotted on a steaming bay.
Judson Elliott on the test run for his train on the Branch Line. Dick Clark having just passed Horrendous and approaching the grade crossing for the park's service road.
Paul Emch on the Conrail engine with it's owner Don Spiedel behind him. Judson Elliott bringing his train around as he heads for the station to load passengers.
Skip Frank approaches Zip Junction with his steamer "Lynn". The line-up for passengers waiting to ride our miniature trains is long today.
Roger Harnish and Robbi Haines watch as the little boy darts off the train after being seated behind engineer Judson by Roy Harris, the beards will do that. Roger loading and RC Yedlicka signaling for 2 more riders.

Paul deep in the woods at Pandora approaching Shoe with a train load. Judson at the same place, Pandora, with a happy load of passengers.

Rogers' steam engine lost a linkage pin and was set into the siding at Big Bend Bridge as Ted Nyland with his interurban passes by. Linda Harris on the club engine passes the idled steamer.
Ken Vendlinger with his Reading switcher at Mackeys Run waves to us. Frank Foti with his Pacific on on the Truss Bridge. Frank sure has put the mileage on the engine this year.
Don Spiedel coasts down Hilde Hill with his speeder to tow Rogers steam engine back to the yard. Marcel Uhrich on the big Hudson for it's trial run before hauling passengers is crossing the Truss Bridge.

Brad Studd with his switcher and his wife Karen on the last car as conductor. After disconnecting his train from the engine, Roger gets his engine pushed by Don and his speeder back to the steaming bays.
