Today is also a regular work session day and Ken Vendlinger is cutting the grass behind Shriver Station. Judson is giving a talk to the group explaining the different railroad cars and some of the type of loads they may carry. |

We had engines out on the steaming bays and a string of cars on a siding in front of them. After the presentation all attendees got a ride and Judson is leaving with the first trainload of passengers. |

Ken, our club President, departs the station with the second trainload of riders. Judson arrived back at the station, discharged his passengers and took on another load of riders. |

With the 10 o'clock group finished riding we have time till the 1 o'clock shows up so Tom Pappas used the time to cut the grass in front of the station. Ken using the wheed whip to cut the grass the mower couldn't reach. |

It was good to see George Metts today, as we missed seeing him not being at the track for over a month. A little after 1 p.m. the Park personal lead the next group over to the station. |

Again, Judson gave his talk on the different aspects of the railroad and the variety of cars and their purposes. Here he explains the boxcar and the things that it might haul to keep merchandise dry from the weather. |

Richard and Paul sit on another train waiting for the next segment of our program...the rides. The rides are by far the most anticapated part of the Tremendous Trains Program where their tickets are held out to be punched by Park personal. |

Everyone had a ticket and waited for their ticket to be punched before the ride would start. With tickets punched and riding instructions given, the train was ready to roll and they departed the station. |
