Dick Clark making a run with some passengers before the start of the public run today. Frank Smoley has coupled his train together after getting the cars out of the storage barn with Wayne Boron's help.
A Park volunteer was taking one of the owls for a walk to give it a change of scenery. Although the owl kept looking around it finally decided to look at the camera for this picture.
Richard Sales leaving the station with his passengers at the beginning of today's public run. Frank passes by the cut-off to Short as he runs on the mainline with his loaded train.
Ron Malinowski leaves the loading area with his passengers starting his first run today. John Deptowicz, running his Snoopy train, with smiling passengers starts his run.
Judson Elliott with his train as he departs the station and approaches the camera in this low angle shot. Ken Vendlinger leaving the station as he and his riders give a wave to the camera.
Dave Woldman with almost a full load of passengers, pulls away from the loading area as John Koontz stops his train alongside. Ground level view as John leaves Shriver Station with a full load of riders.
Mark and Dee Harkleroad came to the track to watch the running of the trains and it was good to see Dee at the track. Mike Harkleroad checking the water gauge on the Camelback steamer as Ted Nyland with the GP38 starts the train moving.
Out in the woods I caught Ted as he passed through Pandora on his way to the Covered Bridge. Next to pass by this location was Mike with his passengers.
Ken gives a wave as the train passes over Cider Bridge as he nears the end of his run. Back at Shriver Station, Paul Emch has taken on a load of passengers and has just started his run.
Joe Vasko waits for Ken Brooks to finish giving riding instructions to the passengers, before he moves his train. Roberta Uhrich, helping to unload the trains at the end of the ride, takes time out to pose for a photo with Mike.
John back at the station among the trains already there, has his passengers starting to depart the train. Mike on the Camelback with exhaust blower on and whistle blowing makes for a good picture.
Dick with his SW1500 departs the station as Kenny waits for the adjacent track to clear so he can load riders. Paul with his NKP Hudson on the switch that routes him to the loop that leads into the station
Dick having just passed over Festival Bridge is heading for the loop running to the station. Kenny is just crossing over the Festival Bridge as he nears the end of his run.
Frank passes by Pandora as he heads for Shoe and the Covered Bridge. Dave with his RS3 gives a wave as he passes by the same location heading West.
Next to pass by is Mike running the Camelback heading towards Shoe with his passengers. A few minutes later Ron ran by this location with a full load of passengers as all the seats were occupied
John with the yellow Park engine emerges from the Covered Bridge as he travels toward Zip Junction. Mike having taken on another load of passengers heads down the mainline on another run.
John departs Shriver Station with a full compliment of passengers as the train gains speed. Paul leaves the station after Ken loaded his train with riders.
Ted Nyland, as engineer of the GP38, waits for his train to be loaded before starting his run. With the riders aboard Ted starts his run westbound from the station.
Jen Zorko takes over the controls of her Dad's train as she starts her run with the Fire Ball Express. Mike arriving back at the station is hidden in a plume of exhaust smoke from the engines stack.
With the rider line run out Andy Yedlick and Dick Scott helping with the last few trains carrying public riders as they arrivied back at the station. John arriving with his passengers.
