Ron Malinowski starts off todays public run with the first trainload of passengers to depart the station. John Reba with his electric powered G9 departs Shriver Station.
Bob Craig is one of our members that lives in Pennsylvania and scratch-built his diesel powered switcher. Paul Emch with his Nickel Plate Road Hudson engine leaving the station.
Frank Foti sits astride East Winds tender as Dick Clark, with his train loaded with passengers, leaves the station. Frank patiently waits for Ken Brooks, our loader today, to finish with the rider instructions.
Bob Craig who just passed over Festival Bridge with his wife Donna as conductor at the rear of the train will soon be back at the station. Paul with his train still on the Festival Bridge, is following a distance behind.
Frank after coming off the Big Bend Bridge rounds the curve that passes through Pandora as he heads for the Covered Bridge. Next to pass by is Dave Woldman with his RS3 diesel passing by Pandora.
Paul Zorko with his Fire Ball Express nears the end of the span as he rumbles over the Big Bend Bridge. John Deptowicz with his Snoopy train, having passed through Mackey's Run, is now heading for the Big Bend Bridge.
Ted Nyland with his pair of interurbans passed Mackey's Run with his riders, heading west on the mainline. Paul having just passed through the Truss Bridge is on the grade crossing for the Park Access Road.
Minutes later Ron came into view at the same location as he heads towards Mackey's Run. John with his GP9 heads towards the Truss Bridge with Linda Harris as his conductor.
Frank Smoley coasting down the grade from Gulch is passing over Bridge No.6. Frank Foti coming down from Hilton, is about to pass by Hilde Hill with volumns of exhaust rolling back over the train.
Paul having passed Hilton is on his way towards Gulch as he heads downgrade with his train. John Koontz with the club's GP38 approaches Hilton with his conductor Dennis Crislip.
The Snoopy train at Ridgeway as it heads for the Big Bend Bridge with smiling passengers. Ted passes by as he heads towards Hemlock shortly after starting his run.
Dick passing through Drudgery with his passengers and Dick Scott as his conductor. Frank just minutes since leaving the station is about to cross over the grade crossing for the Park Access Road.
A view of the activity at Shriver Station as trains arrive, unload, move up to the loading area and then depart the station. Frank said East Wind needed some relief so he headed for the ash pit so East Wind could dump the ash from his firebox.
John sits behind the GP38 as Ken gives rider instruction to Paul's passengers before he leaves the station. Paul on the switch after Festival Bridge will be routed to the loop and head to Kneeling and the station.
Bill Deptowicz is engineer of the Snoopy train giving his son John a break from running who is now behind the camera. Bob passes by with his riders at Thorn and shortly will be on the loop into the station.
Linda Harris, engineer of the GP38, with Dennis Crislip as conductor as they pass over Cider Bridge. Dick Scott passes through Pandora on his way to the Covered Bridge.
Frank coming around the bend by Pandora with hardly any exhaust spewing fron East Wind's exhaust stack. The Fire Ball Express passes by and John catches the riders and they seem pretty happy with the ride.
Bill with eagle eye Snoopy watching the track ahead as we pass by Shoe. Dick with the interurbans has taken on another load of passengers and departs the station.
As Frank pulls into the loading area the passengers on Paul's train give a smile as the train starts moving. The last of the riders have left the station and John with his son Ethan, the engineer, is about to go for a ride.
After the run we have a lot of equipment to put away and in the yard I caught Marie Nyland, our green thumb member, cleaning up getting ready to go. Ethan runs Snoopy thru the switches as John waits his turn.
