New Years Day Run - 1/01/15

Breakfast on New Year's Day at Mike and Roberta Uhrich's home, this was just one dish I had to take a picture of on the counter loaded with goodies for dessert. The food is set up so you can either have breakfast, lunch or brunch which is self-serve.
Plenty of seating abounds with members and guests taking part in the meal and delectable treats that were offered by Mike and Roberta along with some donations of goodies. The attendees to the gathering enjoyed the good conversation after enjoying a good meal.
In the dining room, Emmy Pausch, Pam Znidar, Wally Pausch. Roy Harris, Don Speidel, Edith Hacker and Judy Oscker all LSLS members enjoy each other's company. Back in the kitchen, Chet Roberts, Roberta Uhrich, Roger Harnish and Mike Uhrich take time out for the photographer.
In the family room I got this picture of Bill Besselman and Roberta. Back in the kitchen I found the ham didn't stand a chance with this crowd.
The food was plentiful and Mike kept pulling out more pans of food from the oven to serve up to those present. Our host and hostess, Mike and Roberta Uhrich get together in the kitchen for this photo. Many thanks for putting this on again.
I wonder what Chet said that had Audrey and Patty Harnish with a look of amazement as Roger Harnish looks on. In the hallway, Rick Nagy, Ron Trenhaile and Dave Foster were talking about old times.
Marie and Ted Nyland in the living room with Dave Hird having a discussion that has them pondering with rapt attention. Judy Oscker, Frank Foti, Lois and Frank Smoley along with a guest and his wife sitting on the floor with Dick Clark on the sofa enjoying their conversation.
Fellowship was key as members and guests just got in their groups and enjoy good conversation. Even the dining room table was a good spot to sit in and enjoy the conversation.
This view showing the other end of the dining room table so that I covered everyone in pictures. Kitty Shriver, Judy along with Ted and Marie pose for this picture and seem to be enjoying the festivities.
The amount of those in attendance is thinning out as the brunch comes closer to the 12 o'clock time where we will be running trains in the Park. Kitty Shriver posing with Pam Znidar for this picture.
Frank Smoley, Kitty Shriver, Bill Besselman and Frank Foti all smiles for this photograph as the group starts breaking up and leaving. Marie, Emmy and Ted with Karl, Ron and Rick on the couch don't look like they're anxious to get to the Park because it's cold outside.
I said it was cold outside and I really mean it it was cold outside and here we have Sean Roberts running with Ron Trenhaile and Dick Clark riding on his train.Sean with his 0–6-0 switcher has just passed through Zip Junction on his way back into the station and it's cold out here.
Standing down by the Truss Bridge looking at the diverging trackage which looks barren amongst the leafless trees. Sean approaches the grade crossing with whistleblowing and the exhaust vapor from the stack clearly showing in the cold air.
Sean coasting down the grade past Filmor as he heads for Patty's Rock Bridge. Sean was the only one running today and I should've brought my gloves's as its too cold to hang onto a camera.
