Public Run

Robbi Haines and Ron Trenhaile hang tell-tales from the truss bridge low enough to touch the riders on the trains. Lew Fowler seems startled by the spider hanging from the bridge but I just caught him by surprise for this photo.
Lew is filling the fire buckets we set around the tracks because of the wooded area we run in and that's Rick Nagy behind him. I guess it had to happen, Ted Nyland just discovered that he run over a wicked witch. One less for tonights run.
Mike Harkleroad waits for the "All Aboard" from Bill Besselman and Lew is conductor for this train. I don't know who this little kid was but he sure could hold out his hands for a very long time.
The trees were decorated as you came into the station with some glow in the dark images. Karl Losely was doing some last minute adjustments to the signal lights since we changed it over from electric to manual operation.
Do you think we have a few toddlers on the trains as evidenced by the "parking lot"? Frank Foti arriving back at the station with his passengers and East Wind belching out the exhaust.
Edith Hacker set out a dancing and singing skeleton man that the kids took great joy in watching him go through his routine. Ken Vendlinger is all smiles as he is about to depart the station.
Rex Shriver inbound behind the station with his load of passengers. Wally Pausch with his NYC engine following behind Rex with his load of happy "kids".
Dick Mackey taking his mandatory check out ride before hauling the public has Robbi Haines and Kathy Losely behind him. Dick Clark having just passed through Zip Junction on his way back ot the station.
Mike Harkleroad with the Park engine at Zip Junction with another load of passengers and Lew it still conductor. Skip Frank as engineer at the controls of "Lynn" is about to pass through the truss bridge with his passengers.
There'll be Snoopy coming up the mountain when he comes, along with John Deptowicz and his passengers approaching High Creek. Paul Emch with his shake downrun and Jake Knox is holding the lantern as he rides along with Paul.
Some of the illuminated art on the pumpkins that we carved for this weekends run.
Once again Penitentiary Glen lives up to it's name but we caught Ron Trenhaile, a desperato and have him all trussed up for the authorities, meanwhile he watches the trains by Horrendous. See Rex passes him by.
Frank Foti and Kitty Shriver take time out to strike a pose. Wally watches as Mike Uhrich is caught unawares as Kitty using her magic wand tries to collect Mike's thoughts. She said they were good thoughts.
Amy and Ethan Deptowicz and Logan Tapoylai hand out candy to the riders when the trains unload at the station. Ken is about to depart the station just as soon as Roy Harris finishes with rider instruction.
John with the Snoopy train and Bill Besselman behind him taking the passenger count. Dick Schmidt departing with another load of passengers as the darkness has settled in.
A view of our large pumpkin with candles in it on the wall across from the station. A time shot showing the lighting on Snoopy's roof with my NKP caboose in front of Snoopy with interior lights on.
When I took this shot I didn't notice that the door on Ted's interurban was open but it still is a nice picture. True ghosts of the season or else they just saw a ghost and turned white.
What do we have here...Scooby Doo and looking good. A young lass Pretty in Pink and about to take a ride on Ted's interurban.
Frank feeds the firebox on East Wind with coal as the kids wait to load dressed in their costumes. There were many different types of costumes that the kids wore and that made it all the more interesting.
