Bonnie Zaken brought a spread of cold cuts, cheese, crackers and olives along with coffe for us to enjoy for a lunch time snack. Joe Banzer checking out the wiring to the 16 HP Briggs and Stratton engine that's in our clubs' GP38 that now needs new wiring.
Wayne Boron and Joe started on the main heavy gauge wiring from the battery to the engine. It was decided that the battery mounting plate was too high so the battery was removed, then its' mount was removed from the engine bed plate.
A view of the chassis with the battery and mounting plate removed. The mounting plate has to be cut down so Bill Deptowicz took the plate over to the bandsaw area and got the legs cut off, Joe and Wayne clamped them into the new position and Bill asked the welders to re-weld the legs back on and this is the finished results.
Frank Foti adjusting the brake linkage on his conductor car under the watchful eye of Dick Clark....didn't you recognize the tummy? Frank also re-routed the air line to keep it from being rubbed by the wheels on the trucks.
