On a snowy day Ken Brooks brought the Park engine to our winter headquarters for repair. Once inside the building at Hose Master the snow quickly melted as the engine sat on the lift.
Dick Clark manning the broom to clean up the floor in our area. Joe Banzer steadies the truck as Ken Brooks works at getting the springs back under the ends of the bolsters.
Joe and Rick Nagy support the frame of engine 101 as Seve Zaken and Ken work at re-attaching the non-powered front truck to the chassis. Ken tightening the bolster bolt as Dave Foster joins in.
In a few minutes the power truck was attached to the chassis. George Metts working on parts for the truck.
Ken works at assembling another set of trucks. Joe and Rick mount the engine, drive shaft and Eaton drive to the chassis of 101.
The guys are working on the throttle cable support as the engine nears completion. Dave assembling the brake rigging for the trucks which will go on each set of trucks.
Bill Deptowicz cut some pieces of 2x2xl/4 angle and Dick is centerpunching for drilling in the mounting holes. The angles are mounted between the trucks to limit their rotation in the event of a derailment.
