Work Session - 2/09/11

Frank Foti working on the trailing truck for East Wind after cleaning and inspecting it. Ted Nyland helping Steve Zaken move the guide for routing the grooves in the siding of his box car cover.
Dick Clark working on the edge of the roll roofing that lifted on the passenger car, using Pliobond to glue the edging back in place as Joe Banzer talks with Rick. Because the air pump bracket welded to the oil reservoir broke off, we have to relocate the neutral kill switch on the club engine.
Bill Deptowicz taking down measurements to make up an elevated battery box for the relocated battery as Dave Foster watches. Frank is working on the equalization of the trailing truck to put more weight on East Wind's drivers.
Dick continues with the Pliobond working on the edges that came loose from the radius that the roofing had to bend around. Joe and Paul Zorko taking measurements to put an extended pin on the shift lever that will engage a microswitch for the neutral kill switch when starting the engine.
Dave explaining to Ted the changes we're proposing to make to the Park engine so it will run cooler by using a larger hydraulic reservoir tank and relocating the equipment. Steve checking over the grooves he's made so far to make sure they have the correct spacing between them.
Bill mounting the extended pin in the shift lever mechanism for the microswitch actuator. Frank in the home stretch almost has the trailing truck back together again, ready to remount it on East Wind.
