Dick Clark adding the air brake hose from the cross tee to the brake cylinder on one of the rider car trucks. A view of the twin cylinders we are using for air storage tanks in the rider car.
Lew Fowler filing the brake shoe material to shape and then we will epoxy them on to the brake arms. Dave Foster checking out the control panel for the air control valve mounting.
Dave tightening down the valve in the control box. Dave working on tightening up the vertical extended machine screw we use to limit the control valve arms rotation for maximum pressure.
We have to disconnect the original tubing used for the air brake configuration from the manufacturer of the engine. Bill Deptowicz bend strap steel and mounted the air compressor limit control.
Our first rider car rebuild gets its trucks and the hoses for the rebuilt brakes are connected in line. The other end of the car receives the same treatment and some good progress was made on the car today.
