George Woodling and Ken Brooks are drilling rail for making another switch which will go to the Blue Berry RR. A close up and personal look inside of East Wind's boiler with the flues removed. That pipe will be replaced also. |

Karl Losely and Marcel Uhrich came after our last weeks work session ended and burned out the flues and firebox inside walls on East Wind making her just a shell of her former self. They ground off the stay welds and punched them through. |

The steel tubes are so rusted you can see that the water in the boiler didn't flow around them very well to transfer heat. Every body is working, Frank Foti grinding the welds, Dick Clark working on truck brakes and Dave Foster working on brake line tubing. |

The previous owner gave Frank a spanner wrench burned out of 1/2 inch thick plate to use in removing the cap which we had to heat and pound on the 2"sq. tube extension handle. The steam dome plates after removing the cap. |
