Paul Zorko leaving Shriver Station with some friends before the public run today with his Fire Ball Express. On one of the steaming bays, Ted Nyland readies his American steam engine in preparation for steaming up the engine to run it.

On another steaming bay Mike Harkleroad preps the Camelback and checks the steam pressure that's building in the boiler as the fan on the exhaust creates the draft through the firebox. Sean Roberts checks the lubrication on his switcher engine as steam pressure builds.

Frank Foti fussing over East Wind as the engine comes to life with steam pressure building with a roaring fire in the firebox. At left, Ken Brooks watches as Greg Guy loads passengers on his train as Frank moves into position to load riders at the beginning of the run.

Harry Tabor as engineer of the Park engine prepares to move out after being loaded by Greg. Ted Nyland sitting astride his interurban just starts to roll as he gains speed moving away from the loading zone for his first run of the day.

Ron Malinowski advances the throttle on his electric powered engine and starts off on his first run with his passengers. Dick Clark departing the station with a full trainload of passengers and Valerie Bilchak as his conductor on the rear.

John Deptowicz and his ever popular Snoopy train with a family of three as he departs Shriver Station for points West. Ken and his steeple cab engine as he passes over the Big Bend Bridge heading for Pandora.

Ted climbs the grade at Mackey's Run with a full complement of passengers as he heads for Big Bend Bridge. Ken Vendlinger gives a wave as he passes over the grade crossing and heads for Mackey's Run and the Big Bend Bridge.

John with the Snoopy train has just passed through Fern and will shortly be rumbling through the Truss Bridge. Dick coasting down the grade from Hilton with his trainload of passengers and conductor Valerie.

Frank Smoley passes by with his switcher at the same location as he heads for Fern. Next to pass by was Paul, all smiles for the photographer and his passengers seemed to be enjoying the ride also.

Sean coasting down the grade using a moderate amount of brake as he passed by Hilde Hill with his passengers. Ted powering down the grade from Gulch headed for Hilde Hill with his riders as he motors along for points West.

Trains pass on the grade at Gulch with Ken downbound and Dick upbound passing each other on the double crossover diamond. Ken with his train starts the assult of the grade up to High Creek via Gulch.

Harry coming up the grade from Gulch heading for High Creek as the big engine crosses over Zenith Culvert. In this shot Ken gives a wave after passing by High Creek as he heads towards Horrendous.

Ken just departed from the station and is passing by the water tower at the steaming bays when I snapped this picture. Ron watches as Frank pulls up to the loading area with Harry waiting for Greg to finish loading his train with passengers.

With Harry's train loaded he pulls away from the station and you can see the line of passengers waiting to ride the trains. Frank taking the curve through Horrendous with East Wind giving off a lofty exhaust and his conductor is Renee Czak

I guess you could say Dick's train ride put this little guy to sleep with him sprawled out on the seat under dad's caring hands. Frank Smoley just passed through Zip Junction and that's Bill Deptowicz with the Snoopy train coming along behind him.

Bill as he passes over the grade crossing between Zip Junction and Horrendous with his riders "hamming" it up. A nice shot of Ted as he passed by the same location with John Deptowicz taking these few photos while I ran his Snoopy train.

Ron starting to gain speed as he leaves the station with his passengers. John once again back at the controls of his Snoopy train as he leaves the station with one of the last runs for the day.
