New Years Day Run 1/01/16


Roberta Uhrich, Judy Oscker and Edith Hacker help themselves to the delicious array of food provided by our hosts, Mike and Roberta Uhrich. Facing me is Pam Znidar, Linda Harris, Kathy Losely, Trish and John Koontz, Ron Trenhaile and Kitty Shriver.
Changing angles, at the left is Kitty, Dr. Viktor Stankus and Victoria Harris with the afore mentioned. Pam Znidar was kind enough to take a picture of Bill Deptowicz(the photographer) with Kitty and Pam took quite a few of the remaining pictures of the group so I could enjoy breakfast.
At the kitchen table we have Edith with Roberta talking to Dave Woldman with Diane Hopp and Valerie Bilchak at the end of the table. Looking from the other end of the table we have Frank Foti enjoying the good food.

Our host and hostess, Mike and Roberta Uhrich that provided a wonderful assortment of food for breakfast, if you went away hungry it was your own fault. Retrieving my camera back from Pam, I took her photo. Thanks Pam.
Whats a breakfast without desert? This is the a view of the counter with the availible choices we had, Yum! In the family room Dave Foster and Frank Foti took time out for a picture.
Pam, Kitty and Judy are all smiles like the Cheshire cat, makes me wonder what they were up to, what devilment? Ron and Karl in conversation and it was good to see Rick in attendance to the brunch.

This monkey and the lady bug were getting afectionate in the corner of the window seat making plans to start the New Year off right. Dick Clark heading out the door to go to the track with Frank, Ron and Karl seated and John standing.
On the couch in the living room Don Speidel and Judy with his wife Phyllis sharing stories. Off to the side from Phyllis, Wally and Emmy Pausch are enjoying the culinary delights after having their breakfast.
When I got to the track Edith Hacker, all bundled up trying to keep warm, still had a smile for me. Also present Kate Melco a friend of Dee Harkleroad, who is Mike Harkleroad's mother, trying to get warm in the station.
Passing through Horrendous Richard Sales, Dick Clark and Ron Trenhaile brave the cold because the wind chill was 9 degrees and on the moving train it was probably colder. Back at Shriver Station the crew deciding if they want to chance the cold for a ride.
Paul Zorko, George Metts and Dave Foster having a discussion between the train runs. With the train back it was time to load up for another run.
Jerry Bell climbs into the engineers seat as he prepares to take a trip around our layout. Frank Foti, Ron Trenhaile, Frank Smoley, Pam Znidar and Dave Woldman getting ready to brave the elements.
Jerry engaged the shifter and the GP38 starts rolling unconcerned about the cold weather. After coming back into the station Jerry took on another load of passengers and headed down the mainline again.
George Metts, Richard Sales and Dave Woldman all bundled up for the weather take time out from their conversation for this photo. Ron Trenhaile has decided that he has had enough of the cold and is taking off for home as he poses for one last picture.
Richard decided to go into the station for some warmth as George and Dave were joined by Frank. Bill Deptowicz as engineer of the next trip out with Valerie Bilchak Jerry Bell, Dave Woldman, Richard Sales and Dick Clark ready to ride.
The Park has a inside display every Xmas and Frank Foti has his 2-6-0 Mogul to display along with two cars belonging to Bob Beardslee. Another view trying to show the whole train as it was displayed on a section of track.
This owl was sitting in one of the decorated Xmas trees and didn't give a "Hoot!" who passed by. A view from the other side of the train of the display.
