Earth Day Run today and it's just a little warmer than yesterday's Club Run as Ted Nyland departs the station with his interurbans. John Riba advances the throttle on his GP40 electric powered engine starting his run with a fully loaded train.
Dave Woldman and his RS3 passes by the steaming bays on the start of his run down the mainline. Frank Smoley and his switcher on his way to Drudgery with his passengers and that's Paul Zorko with his train in the background heading towards Horrendous.
Ted appproaching Hemlock with his riders will soon be running down the grade to Gulch. After arriving back at the station, Paul with his Fire Ball Express engine picked up another load of passengers and rolls down the mainline.
The day is getting a little warmer and here Ted motors by starting another run with his passengers. Dick Clark running the club's GP38 has just passed through the Covered Bridge on his way to Zip Junction, Horrendous and points West.
Having just passed through Mackey's Run, John is heading for our 120 foot long Big Bend Bridge. Standing at Mackey's Run, Dave was the next train to come along and be in the lens of my camera.

Ron Trenhaile, our train watcher for today, sitting in a chair by the Truss Bridge watching the progression of trains as they all have to pass by him. Emerging from the Covered Bridge, John Deptowicz with his Snoopy train heads for Zip Junction.
Ted nearing the end of his run as he travels over the loop behind Shriver Station. Frank was next to pass by this location as he heads back into the station.

Ted starts his next run after taking on board some more passengers and he advances the throttle gaining speed. Mike Harkleroad as engineer of the club's switcher just pulls up to the passenger loading area.

John's train passes by with a full load of passengers and that's Bonnie Zaken as conductor riding at the rear. After taking on another group of passengers, Mike slowly pulls away from the loading area as he starts down the mainline.
Frank having taken on more passengers and been given the "All Aboard" signal eases the shifter forward and starts rolling on his next run. John leaving the station and the youngster doesn't look too happy about riding the train.
Paul pulling up to the loading area for more passengers for his next run. Anna Zorko is taking the rider count today which we turn in to the park system as requested.
At the unloading area Roberta Uhrich was helping directing passengers or using their phones to take pictures of them on the train. John on track No. 2 will soon switch over to the mainline track No. 1 as he leaves the station.
Now there's a happy group of passengers as they ride out on Ted's interurbans. Paul leaving the station area as he takes the switch that will put him on the mainline.
Dick is pulling up to the loading area with "Big Red" and you can see the end of the line of the passengers waiting to ride the trains. Frank passes by Short with a family of riders as they head for Drudgery.
Dave approaches Short as he heads West with his passengers and will be back at the station in about 10 minutes. Ken back at the controls of the Reading switcher as he heads out on his next run.

Mike's train has been loaded with passengers and is starting to roll as the train accellerates. Ted and Marie Nyland along with Kitty Shriver and her grandkids head out for a ride through the woods to conclude the days event.
