East Wind, Frank Foti's Pacific steam engine reposes on a steaming bay taking on water to fill the boiler before igniting a fire in the firebox. East Wind under steam at the loading area waiting for passengers.
Safety lifted venting excess steam in the boiler as East Wind waits patiently. On the sidings near the end of Shriver Station, Richard Sales checks over his train as Ken Vendlinger gets ready to depart with riders.
Ken Brooks is our loader for today and has just cleared Richard to depart the station with his riders. Dave Woldman starts rolling toward the switch which will shuttle his train to the mainline with his passengers.
Standing at the finish point of the train rides, Pam Znidar and Steve Zaken with Dennis Crislip sitting on the grade wall, help with unloading trains. John Koontz watches as his riders unload from the train.
Frank Foti astride of East Wind's tender advances the throttle with the cylinder cock valves open to blow out the moisture that has accumumulated while standing. Ken departs with another load of passengers.
Dave looks down to check his air as he puts his train in motion on his next run. Richard passing by Pandora after crossing over the Big Bend Bridge as he heads for Shoe and the Covered Bridge.

At the same location Ken with the Reading electric powered switcher gives a wave as he passes by. Dave having just rumbled over the grade crossing for the Park Access Road climbs the grade towards Mackey's Run.
John just passed by Fern as he heads for the Truss Bridge and I see we have had pranksters who have relocated the Mackey's Run sign post. Coming down the grade from Gulch, Richard crosses over Bridge #6 on his way to Fern.
Paul with his switcher coasts down the grade from Gulch heading for Hilde Hill. Ron Malinowski coasting down the grade from Hilton as he heads for Hilde Hill with his passengers.
Ken and his smiling passengers as he passes by Gulch rolling down the grade from Hilton. Dick applying a little braking action to keep the trainload of passengers, with Steve Zaken as conductor, in check.
Dave with his riders having just passed over the Branch Line crossing with the unmistakable clickety-clack of the wheels over the gaps in the rail near Hilton. John at the same location with Ron in the background heading for Horrendous.
Frank Foti and East Wind has just passed by Hemlock with his passengers and will soon be traveling down grade to Fern. Paul Emch with Mike Harkleroad at Lester head for the yard.
Ron with another load of passengers has minutes ago just left the station as he heads for Drudgery. Ken gives a wave as he passes by the switch to Short as he heads down the mainline.
Looking at Shriver Station you can see the end of the line of riders waiting for a ride on the trains. Mike Harkleroad brought George Metts' Camelback steamer but didn't raise steam in it to run today.
The tender for the Camelback that carries the water and coal to keep the firebox producing steam while under way. Dick as he passes by in front of the steaming bays just starting his next run.
Dave with his trainload of passengers has been given the OK for his next run and is advancing the throttle and gaining some speed. Bonnie Zaken has been our passenger counter for today's public run.
Dave has come back into the station, unloaded his riders, has been reloaded and is heading out for another run. Kevin Harris stops at the loading area to to take on a load passengers.
Kevin's passengers on his train as he slowly starts moving down the mainline. Dick is leaving the station with one of the last full load of passengers for him today.
