3.12.08 Work Session

The new control panel mounted on the front end of the car and you can see the brass schrader valve mounted in the side of the car. Dick Clark, Joe Banzer and Frank Foti enjoying the moment for the camera.
This gives you an idea of the angle of the control panel mounted to the car. The wheel sets for the locomotive are next as Frank, George Metts and Lew Fowler discuss the assembly.
Frank is tapping the wheel on with a rubber mallet as George watches. The car isn't holding pressure so Joe and Rick are checking out the fittings.
Who said five heads are better than one to work on this problem? Meanwhile back to the wheel assembly. Did you know that new Loctite is dated on the bottle and has a shelf life? We did today thanks to George Metts.
Bill Deptowicz is having a problem getting the wheel to start on the keyway as Joe watches. Once more we'll try after I add the Loctite to the shaft.
