Railfest 2007 - 2

Jerry's steeple-cab with the pantograph raised in daylight. The Northern continues to attract the public to watch the running gear moving on air pressure.
The wooden NKP caboose in better light along with the G&D scratch-built stock car.
Kevin has added some of the lettering on his boxcar since the Friday night picture. Dick Clark is checking out the firebox door in this view of the Northern.
A view of the smokebox with the yellow air hose connecting the cylinders. A daylight shot of Paul's NKP Switcher showing more detail.
Howard Murphy and Roy Harris behind the tables with telegraph keys on the table in the foreground. Bill Deptowicz brought in the interurban trucks he is machining for a Lake Shore Electric Railway car under construction.
This collection of telegraph keys belongs to Roy Harris. Howard brought in some of his photo albums and articles about the 12" gauge engines he owns and runs.
Paul's caboose with a photo sequence display of the modifications alongside. Kitbashing on a larger scale. Steam engines of all types abound and looked good running on air.
Tom Pappas behind the caboose fielding questions from the public. A view of the engines on display that some were run on air for the show.
Robbi Haines, Roger Harnish and Mike Uhrich "manning" the display table. Shows over and I caught these two unsavory characters, brothers Karl and Frank, making off with my NKP Caboose.
The guys trying to load Johns' Northern from the display stand had a height differental to overcome. It's going to be a close fit but with many hands things will get worked out.
A side shot of the Northern before she is pushed into the pickup. George Davidson and grandson Clayton taking the steamer to the front parking lot to load up for the trip home.
Meanwhile Karl Dahlmann watches over Franks' Pacific "East Wind" so no one tries to carry it off. Right!!! A front end shot of Terrys' electric box cab with the panograph raised.
Pauls' Morris switcher is next to be moved outside for loading. Making sure the transistion track lines up and the wheels stay on the track as the switcher rolls into the back of the truck.
Frank levels the trailer to receive the Pacific as Rick Nagy and Karl look on. Slow and steady "East Wind" is moved into the trailer and Railfest 2007 becomes history.
