Club Run - 4/10/10


Dave Foster with his scratch-built electric powered speeders departing the station for points West. Edith Hacker and Bonnie Zaken enjoying lunch as the speeders and Ken Brooks' electric cab bask in the sun between runs.
Up on the steaming bay Marty Pinkston has his bobber caboose that he is scratch-building. Skip Frank brought his Columbia steam engine "Lynn" and is busy raising steam in the boiler.

Sean Roberts brought his Plum Cove engine that he has detailed for Cleveland Terminal. Marty with his Cli-Shay that last year he re-boilered it to a larger boiler.
John Deptowicz assembling his Snoopy engine, which is also a Plum Cove engine, as his son Ethan plays peek-a-boo between his legs. Robbi Haines and Ethan wait for Jon Jaros' switching moves to clear the switches so John can pick up his second rider car.

With "Lynn" under steam Skip checks the pony truck with the wheels hanging over the end of the track on a steaming bay. Ken with his train just arrived back at the station and is talking with guests.

Jeff Ridler approaches (scale) mile marker 5.0 as he approaches the station at the end of this run. Skip Frank with his circus train approaches the station and will stop short because of the traffic at the station.
Austin Tapoylai watches the trains as they come into the station on the main line. John watches as Logan runs the military switcher on the main line as they approach from behind the station.

Amy Deptowicz as our dispatcher for the day but someone should have told her that is a cell phone,not a radio for the instructions. Just kidding. Rick was giving training in the operation of the GP38 today so a couple of members got certified to run the engine.
