Club's Business Meeting - 4/20/13

Members gather at the Lake Front Lodge for our business meeting, for tonight is election night. To get a fairly good turnout Robbi Haines provides us with a free meal to entice us to come to this meeting to vote.
We had a pretty good turnout and the weather was rather nice today and the food was very good. Another view of the members down along this table that are or did enjoy the dinner provided.
Club dues are due today and Kitty Shriver is making out the receipts as fast as the monies are coming in before the meeting starts. Robbi Haines in the kitchen cleaning up the dishes from serving our dinner.
Dick Clark our club newsletter editor, Ken Brooks our president and Maggie Delmore our secretary, at the executive table getting ready to start the meeting. With the meeting started the members listen intently about the agenda of tonight's meeting.
View from the Lake Front Lodge looking out over the lake as the sun sets over the horizon. As dusk settles in, we have to turn on the lights as the meeting continues.
Members listen intently on the results of the vote for a new trustee. A view of the meeting and the people in attendance from the other side of the room, looking over the shoulders of the executive board.
The next order of business was a discussion on the upcoming presentation of a lifetime membership award. Ken Brooks, our president presents the lifetime membership award to Rick Nagy, who has not quite yet met that thousand hours of volunteer work a year he is striving for at the Park.
A beaming Rick holds his lifetime membership plaque for the photographer. Congratulations Rick! The meeting was brought to a close and the raffle tickets were being sold as Mike Harkleroad looks over the prizes that were being offered.
Some of the items that were donated by the members provide a little something for everyone's taste even a stuffed bunny. Jennifer Legan did the honors with calling out the winning raffle numbers for the winners of the individual items.
Kitty was helping Jennifer with the dispersion of the prizes to the winners. The winner of our keepsake plaque as a momento, that the Park replaced, was won by Mark Harkleroad.
