Paul Emch and John Koontz were doing inspection of running stock before the run, up on the steaming bays. The steaming bays were busy and Roy Harris was doing a boiler pressure test on George Metts' Camelback.
Josh Frank at the controls of Scrappy as he maneuvers the train through the switches before the run. Rick Nagy with the first load of passengers leaving the station.
Ken Brooks just passing through Hemlock on the main line. Rick having passed through High Creek is rolling through Horrendous with the GP38 and his passengers.
As Scott Hewis approaches Zip Junction with the Park engine he waves for the photographer. Dick Clark at the controls of his SW1500 switcher and Lew Fowler is the conductor on the rear of the train.
On the Orchard Loop behind the station Ethan is giving John, his dad, a ride. Grampa, Bill Deptowicz, was next to get some rides on the loop track.
Frank Foti with East Wind on the main line behind the station is almost at the end of this run. The back half of Franks' train with the passengers and Pam Znidar as conductor.
Dick having just emerged from the covered bridge is starting the slight grade up to Zip Junction. At the far side of the bridge Jerry Bell is on the approach and will soon be rumbling through the bridge timbers.
Josh giving a ride to a guest on the Orchard Loop with Georges' scratch-built gas powered military switcher. Skip Frank having blown the whistle moves "Lynn" out of the station with his passengers.
Ted Nyland departing on his next run with his pair of electric powered interurbans and look at the line of riders waiting behind him. John Deptowicz starting the military switcher to give it a try with Josh behind him.
Jeff Ridler with his electric cab just starting to roll after Robbi Haines loaded his train. Joshs' first time running the Camelback as he runs it on a track parallel to the main line by the ash pit.
Jerry coming up the grade from Gulch in this overhead shot of the train. Ted coasting down the grade through Gulch on his way to Hilde Hill.
Marty Pinkston with his happy load of passengers as they are about to pass through Fern. Paul and John near the same location as they ride to the station to pick up a load of passengers.
Dick is about to cross over Bridge #6 and that's Lou DeLembo as his conductor. You have to be ever watchful as this black rat snake doesn't know that the Park's "Snakes and Such" run is June 13th.(This photo courtesy of Pam Znidar)
Marty leaving the station with Paul behind him and Edith Hacker behind the caboose helping with the unloading. Bill Deptowicz running Dicks' train giving him a break and Rick is the conductor.
At least Bill has a happy load of passengers with the anticipation of the ride. Lew Fowler running the military train behind the station and seems to be enjoying it.
Pam is the ever diligent conductor for the passengers under her care and smiles for the photographer as the train starts to move. Bill D's scratch built NKP caboose and the Gorre and Dephid(G&D) swayback stock car patterned after John Allen's HO model from 1956.(a model of a model)
See you give him a break and you can't keep Dick off an engine, probably because he is a retired engineer from ConRail. Ken waiting for Robbi to finalize riding instructions to the passengers.
Three trains after unloading at the station, Skip checking his fire, Marty waiting for a chance to pull ahead as Jeff in front of him moves up for more riders. Robbi talks to Skip before his next run.
Bill waiting for Robbi to give the "All Aboard" so he can start his next run and the end of the line is in sight. Scott takes the last of the public riders for the offical last run of the public run today.
