Frank working at removing the stump that will be too close to the new track we're putting in. Because of the switch that is going in here, we have to extend the underground culvert so Frank is digging the ditch wider as Rick watches.

Meanwhile, Dave Foster is grinding the approach slab for clearance of the transition ramps on the Stanek Barn Lift on Track 4. Dave continuing the grinding, this time on Track 5.

The extended piece of pipe for the culvert is in place and you can see how close the switch will bring the track. We had to extend the small culvert to the left of the large pipe and then bury it.

We have three trains in front of the station waiting for the Leadership Lake County group to arrive by bus. Ken Brooks and Kitty Shriver in conversation before the group arrives.
