Public Run

The Public Run started out with rain and cool and there's er,...ah..I think it's Frank Foti coming toward the station. Jake Knox was passing out candy canes for the kids at the unloading area.
Ted Nyland at the crossing just passing through Horrendous with his interurbans. Linda Harris as engineer at the controls of Rex's electric switcher on this overcast day.
Scott Hewis with the repainted Conrail engine approaches the crossing with his charge of passengers. Paul Emch at Zip Junction with his NKP painted train is all smiles even if the weather isn't the best.
Back at the staion Ted waits as Roy Harris gives riding instructions to the passengers seated on his interurban. Rick Nagy waiting to load as Paul waits for the "All Aboard!" from Roy, before moving his train.
Marty Pinkston with his scratch-built box cab checks with his passengers as he begins his next run. Rick's train is all loaded and Bill Deptowicz is conductor and look....no line of passengers behind Roy.
Bill was trying to teach Ethan Deptowicz how to be a good conductor but he wasn't taking it seriously. Amy Deptowicz and Kitty Shriver at the loading area watching the trains load.
A lot of the riders got off one train and just moved ahead to the next train for a ride and Scott waits for Roy to finish loading his train. A little more effort and Jake will break into a grin.
Paul about to unload passengers in front of the station after running Don Speidels train. The passengers kept trickling in as Paul prepares for the next run, I guess high school graduations kept the ridership count low along with this weather.
Jessica Warner as engineer of Grampa Rex's train as she slowly approaches the station. Rick coming into the the station with some of the last riders of the public run behind the club's GP38.
Rick with Joe Banzer as conductor and Scott in front of the station with their trains. The kids are fascinated with Frank's engine with safety lifted after having just ridden behind it on the train.
Frank explaining what all the different valves do on his Pacific "East Wind". Marie Nyland with her beautification plan to add plants near our Branch Line, worked all through our Public Run, planting.
