When I got to the track today Don Spiedel was working on riding cars checking and repairing the brakes. Don was checking the brake cylinders of the older cars we use. |

As the guys take a break I check out what the track team is doing with the extension of the Branch Line that aleviates the twenty-five foot radius we built last year which only a few of the locos could negotiate. |

As we walk along the new extension you can see the "old" 25 foot radius to the right in the photo. This is where we merged with the "old" Branch Line and the mainline crossing is just ahead. |

While we worked on the gravel for the new shed the track crew finished the Branch Line extension with leveling, ballast and tamping the stone around the ties which concludes another project in time for the Open Meet. |
