Club Open Meet


The steaming bays were busy with Roy Harris doing boiler tests for the steamers. Ken Vendlinger talks with some guys in the background as Bob Beardslee readies his engine for the boiler test.
Skip Frank lubricates "Lynn" as he generates steam in the boiler as his grandson Joshua Frank watches. Sitting around and relaxing are Rick Nagy, George Woodling, Wally Pausch, Jake Knox and Dave Foster between runs.
The Snoopy train with Austin Tapolyai as engineer with Ethan, Amy and John Deptowicz behind him. Skip has his train on the siding in front of the steaming bays as the activity there continues.

Dick Mackey working on his Camelback, is a sight we haven't seen in a couple years and missed, re-assembling the smoke box cover on his engine. The engines are setting at the station as the rain seems eminent.

Amy with her son Ethan coming into the station took a ride by themselves. This is why, I welded up the frame and John' father-in-law worked with John building the the car who is now putting on the trucks that Tom Bee just delivered.Talk about being ready and waiting!

Mark Ross's Galloping Goose idles up the grade as Mark throws the switch ahead of the engine. While all of the activity at the station this Toad just sat and watched and genuinely seems disinterested. Has Lew's kind of expression in that picture about the signals.
