Chet Roberts pulls into the station with his scratch built electric powered cab unit and he's all smiles as members Judson Elliott, Ron Trenhaile and George Metts are at the station on the picnic tables. Ron Trenhaile's electric powered F40PH sits in the siding at the station along with Hal Seiler's gas powered speeder's waiting for the call to duty.
This picture just proves that Kenny Vendlinger is all thumbs, at least that's the way it looks as he rolls into the station. Bob Pakeltis comes into the station with Metts' military scratch built gas powered engine with his grandson Adam behind him.
Sean Roberts backs his 0-8-0 steam powered switcher into one of the leads in the Orchard Yard behind the station. Mark Reigle brought his scratch built electric powered rail car to our event.
Once again we catch Frank Foti enjoying himself without the steam vapors of East Wind as he looks in this view quite surprised he got caught, with Chet riding behind him. He won't get a dirty face riding this one. Adam at the controls of the military engine as they have just left the mainline and are heading towards the signal for the branchline.
Wally Pausch and Hal look on as Paul Emch with his NKP Hudson departs the station with Scott Hewis, Dick Mackey and Don riding behind on the train. Larry and Alan Goldsby brought this beautiful rendition of electric powered steam engine and here it sits up on one of the steaming bays.
Hey! Frank did bring East Wind, but he's still not steamed up, just sitting up on the steaming bays all forlorn till his engineer comes back. Ted Nyland put one of his interurbans out on one of the other steaming bays.
Caught Ken Brooks leaving the Orchard Yard with the club's GP 38 and train westbound on the mainline. Just departing the station was Dave Foster with his pair of electric powered speeder's with Roger and Cindy Rice riding on the 2nd unit with their grandson Cole Johnson up in front inspecting the track.
Dick Clark coming into the station with his SW 1500 gas powered engine with Rick Nagy, riding behind taking pictures of the photographer taking a picture of him. Ted Nyland with his American and his interurban that he pulls behind so the engine has something to work against.
Frank Smoley and Bob Pakeltis work on the military engine because one of the bolster's keepers dropped out requiring that another bolt be fitted to hold it up in place. Ted Nyland with his American as he crosses over Cider Bridge on his way into the station with the smoke from the stack billowing over his head.
A few minutes later Ken came by with his train with Hal riding behind him as he just starts over Cider Bridge. Chris Cooper, running his scratch built switcher, as he crosses over the Cider Bridge westbound toward the station.
Scott with his train as he emerges from the Covered Bridge and heads towards Zip Junction with the gentle ascending grade. Larry Goldsby and Ron Trenhaile with the 0–8–0 switcher as they head out of the siding bound for the mainline.
Sean Roberts at the controls of his switcher showing his son how to operate the steam engine as they head eastbound towards the station after passing through Hemlock. Chris and Dena Cooper as they wait for the signal at Hemlock to gain access to the branchline running through Hilton, High Creek, Filmor and Bruce.
Marty Pinkston coming off the branchline with Richard Sales riding behind him and behind them is the disconnected log car. A few minutes later Ken passes through the same trackage with the club's GP 38 and his riders.
Hal with his electric powered Galloping Goose as he climbs the grade from Gulch headed towards High Creek. Mark on his version of the Galloping Goose as he starts down grade at Filmor after having acquired the signal from the post behind him.
Ken as he passes through Horrendous on his way towards Zip Junction, will soon be arriving at the station at the end of this run. Sean's son watches the simmering steamer that is back up on one of the steaming bays.
Adam arriving back at the station with the train with his grandpa Bob and Edith Hacker riding behind him. Scott as he heads for Lester gives a wave to the photographer as he passes by eastbound towards the station.
Ron Trenhaile's F40PH is sitting on one of the new yard track siding's in between runs. Frank with East Wind eastbound from Filmor, as he points at the photographer, passes Dick with his train headed westbound towards Filmor with the water tank between the 2 trains.
Don Speidel standing next to Goldsby's engine which is like one of the full-size engines that Don used to run as an engineer many years back. Bob watches as Dave puts on the charger for his battery in preparation for tonights storage.
Matthew Tomko at the controls of East Wind as he departs the station with Frank riding behind him and his dad, Steve in the passenger car. Jonathan Schaffer at the controls of the club's GP 38 as he passes through the station with the train at the start of his next run as darkness starts to settle in.
Ken with his electric powered cab unit arrives back at the station and it's really getting dark now as the running is tapering off. Time shot of the station and there's hardly any activity there now.
