6.24.07 Public Run

Rick Nagy helping Dick Clark unload his engine and rider car. Paul Emch lubricating Don Speidel's engine on our transfer table.
Bill Bodemer, Lou DeLembo, Harold Sicherman, Roger Harnish and Ray Dellmore at the station before the run. Harold is one of our charter members of the Lake Shore Live Steamers.
The station always has members and friends that come for the run. Ethan Deptowicz is currently our newest member with his dad John holding him.
Dick Clark about to depart the station with his passengers. The anxious riders waiting for the next train to pull up so they may load and you can see the line extends all the way to the right of the picture.
Don Speidel waits with his train to load as Paul gets ready to move his train. Bill is the offical passenger counter for todays run and Emily Kutscher is the conductor for the train that's loading passengers.
Frank Foti tends to his engine as his train was loaded and Dave Foster moves up with his speeders to load. Same view but from the opposite angle and who is the engineer on the diesel?
Pam Znidar at extreme left and Edith Hacker at the right and then there's that guy on the diesel again. At left Dick Mackey with Emily as conductor and Frank behind her with a bright idea as Don takes on air for his brakes.
Skip Frank approaches the grade crossing at the Park's access road with his train. Dave checks out the passengers loading as Roger Harnish behind Dave gives the riding instructions to them.
Dick Philpott with his electric powered Dinky Creek train is all loaded and ready to roll. Hmm, there's that mystery engineer again who just won't look into the camera lens as he takes 9401 for another trip around the track.
Dick waiting to be loaded as Paul cracks the throttle on his Nickel Plate switcher. Dave passing thru Zip Junction on his way back to the station.
Frank with "Eastwind" coming from Horrendous heading toward the station. Rick with the GP38 and Dick Mackey as conductor at the rear.
Skip coasting down the grade towards Filmor with "Lynn" and then it will be a 3% plus grade to climb. Philpott's train with George Woodling as engineer approaching the crossings at Filmor.
Rick coasting down Hilde Hill at the switch for Fern siding. Goodness golly, our mystery engineer is none other than a dyed-in-the-wool, coal smoke and all, live steamer..Dave Harnish..caught engineering a diesel.
George is running the repainted Conrail engine that Don Speidel owns. Wally Pausch is running Paul Emch's engine and has just passed Zip Junction.
Dave with his speeders and passengers at the same location. Alyssa at the controls with Robbi Haines and Kathy Losely along for the ride.
Ron Trenhaile watching the trains as safety inspector for the riders by Cider Bridge. George Metts talking to Dave as Edith starts the unloading of his train and that's George Davidson as conductor.
Caught another live steamer who doesn't want to show his face as his train---A DIESEL---pulls into the station. Karl Losely behind the club's GP38 has nothing to hide for as it's all in fun.
