Marie Nyland enjoys some of the ice cream that she and her husband, Ted made before the run and Rex Shriver is in the foreground, as Ken Brooks, the engineer of the GP 38, watches his passengers unload. Rex with his decorated hat from some of all the places he has visited on rambles to other train sites.
Paul Emch with his Nickel Plate Switcher is about to depart the station with a full load of passengers that were loaded by Roy Harris in the red shirt. Paul Zorko smiles for the photographer as he departs the station on his 1st run with his Fireball Express.
Frank Smoley with Speidel's train passes over the grade crossing between Zip Junction and Horrendous as he heads points West. Chet Roberts with his steamer and passengers just rolls off the Truss Bridge on his way towards Mackey's Run.
Skip Frank with his steamer Lynn has just passed through Fern and will shortly be rumbling over the Truss Bridge with his passengers. Ted Nyland with his pair of interurban's and passengers has just come down the grade from Hilton and is on the main line adjacent to the Fern siding.
Paul Emch has released the brakes on his train and is gaining speed after coming down the grade from Gulch and passing through Fern. As Paul climbs the grade from Gulch to High Creek, on the adjacent mainline track going down grade, Ken with the GP 38 is riding the brakes to control the speed and that's Jennifer Legan as his conductor on the back.
Ken Vendlinger with his passengers gives a wave to the photographer as he approaches the South Yard Lead intersection onto the mainline. Chet with his steamer at Hemlock as he starts down the grade in a veil of smoke from the exhaust of his engine.
Scott Hewis just passed over the Big Wash Bridge and will be soon approaching the Branch Line crossing at Hilton. John Koontz at the controls of the interurbans giving Ted Nyland a break, as he passes through Hemlock with a smiling load of passengers.
Near the end of the yard Marie Nyland was busy planting the plants that she brought to make the end of the yard look a lot better. On the Mulberry One track siding Skip Frank had just picked up his riding cars and is ready to head out onto the mainline to get back to the station to load passengers.
Chet with 9401 as he passes by on the main adjacent to the Willis car barn with his passengers after having just left the station. Ken with Jennifer as his conductor, passes over the grade crossing on his way to Horrendous and then down the grade past Filmore.
Ken leaves Horrendous on his way towards Zip Junction and Thorn as he heads back in to the station nearing the end of his run. Scott approaches Zip Junction after having just emerged from the Covered Bridge with Lois Smoley as his conductor.
Don Speidel emerges from the Covered Bridge with his passengers and Dick Schmidt is riding at the rear as his conductor. Ken approaching Thorn as he heads back to the station near the end of his run and will soon discharge his passengers and take on another load.
Dave Mroczynski sits behind his grandson Trevor Smith, who waves to the photographer, as he runs the train on the Orchard Yard Loop during the Public Run. Roy has loaded the passengers on Ken's train and as he starts rolling out of the station gives a wave as he gains speed. Scott and Ken at the unloading area with their train's passengers offloaded as they wait for the trains ahead to depart and more trains arrive behind them.
Chet his just come into the station and Edith Hacker walks forward to aid the passengers to depart from the train as Don arrives with his train on track one. A view from the station at the loading area as Roy gives instructions to the riders on Mike Harkleroad's train before they depart the station.
Jennifer with her dad's train talks with Ken on his Reading switcher powered train as Ken's train takes on passengers. With Jen's train all loaded she departs the station with a big smile.
Kenny discharges his passengers and speaks to one of the riders as Jennifer arrives back at the station shortly after he arrived. As Ken pulls forward in the procession of trains, Edith walks out to aid the riders in debarking from the train.
Paul waits for the "All Aboard!" call from Roy, after having just taken on a load of passengers, as he is ready to start his next run. Bob Beardslee with his Pennsylvania switcher steam engine and riding cars has just been loaded with passengers by Roy and is about to depart the station.
Ken with arms crossed, talks with one of the passengers waiting to be loaded as Roy sees to the loading of Ken's train. Chet up on the steaming bays with his mogul which he is cleaning as is Skip with his engine Lynn after blow down of the engines at the end of the run.
Dick Clark's train leaves the station with a load of passengers as the run nears its end with Jennifer as a conductor on the rear car and Don with his train on the far side waiting to be loaded. Don pushes the control stick forward and the train starts to move taking his load of passengers with Frank Smoley on the rear as conductor.
Dave and Trevor arrived back at the station after being out on the mainline, with Dave's scratch built engine, after the public run today. Dave Woldman arrived back at the station after a trial run with his newly acquired engine and is all smiles with the operation of it.
