Ken Brooks and George Woodling were also working on laying track( trk #5) into the Stanek Car Barn. The guys are making good progress and soon we will have three tracks we can use to put trains into the car barn. |

Back at the station I caught Edith Hacker going over the volunteer hours for the monthly report she has to do for the Park. Wally and Rick were scraping out the gravel to lay track between the switches. |

You can see how much track that was removed that will be reworked to tie into the track behind the Stanek Car Barn. Rick, Dick and Wally confer on a problem with the length of track joining the switch panel. |

Problem resolved by cutting the rail and new holes drilled for the rail joiners and bolted together. Ken is cutting off the end of the rail to match the edge of the doorway foundation and adding ties. |
