Club Run

Marty Pinkston brought his Cli-Shay that is under construction and intends to raise steam for some running. Judson Elliott is leaving the station with the Park engine.
George Woodling at the station but his expression doesn't match Toby's. George came from a military enactment, hence the uniform. Frank Foti let go of the steering wheel but "East Wind" knew where to go.
Bill Besselman talking the finer points of steam from Cass to Richard Sales and Marty as Marty fills the water tank. Joe Laskowski and Laurel Neiting on the rider car behind his interurban.
A simple thing like taking down the flags and stepping through and Kitty is all wrapped up in the task. Mary Lou Schmidt is all smiles coming into the station with Mark Ross's Galloping Goose.
Members and friends at the station talking about "The good ole days". Logan Tapolyai is engineer with the Snoopy train with Ethan and John Deptowicz and Cornelius Gould going for the ride.
Edith Hacker and Mark Ross having a discussion by the station. Harold Sicherman at the station is one of the charter members of the club having joined in 1977 when the club organised and that's Ray Tomorowitz sitting behind him.
Caught Edith Hacker enjoying herself running Toby the engine as she passes over Big Wash Bridge. "East Wind" sitting idle as George Woodling, Lew Fowler, Mary Kay Bossard and Kevin Chevalia wait for Frank Foti to return.
Who says snakes can't climb trees?...this is about three and a half foot long black rat snake climbing a tree that is slightly leaning. Look Ma...no hands and you can see how his body takes advantage of the protruding bark on the tree for leverage.
Dick Clark leaving the station on the Eastbound track as Robbi Haines and Edith Hacker point out the snake to Logan Tapoylai. George Metts with his Toby train giving a ride to Caleb Molby with his mother Denice holding Ethan Deptowicz.
Joey Golden with Amy Deptowicz on the Snoopy train behind the staion on the Orchard loop. Ken Brooks coming into the station with Austin Tapolyai as his passenger.
Richard Sales with his wife Virginia and Don Speidel leaving the station on the eastbound track. "It's a bird,...It's a plane".....naw just that snake up the tree as Dave Foster, Emmy and Wally Pausch come into the station and Emmy doesn't appreciate going underneath the tree.
Paul Emch coming into the station with his NKP special with Nathan Molby and George Woodling in the gondola cars. Dick eastbound with Chris Ganz and Harold along for the ride.
Mary Kay Bossard as engineer of East Wind with Frank Foti, Kevin Chevalia and Lew Fowler as they pause for traffic ahead. Caught Paul in the camera lens as he approaches Zip Junction.
Ken with a full trainload of passengers westbound out of the station. At 24 mph things are just a blur...not really my son John panned this shot of me holding my grandson Ethan as I enjoyed a few moments on the other side of the lens.
See, we arrived safe and sound back at the station with Ken as engineer behind the GP38. There's something different about Paul, but I just can't put my finger on it ...or three.
Frank telling the route he's going to take to downtown Cleveland. Ben and Cornelius Gould with Rowan Kramer and her mother Karoline Kramer/Gould as they leave for Cleveland?...We don't have track to Cleveland.
Robbi Haines pushes the cart of beverages to the shelter house as Caroline Besselman and Roberta Uhrich follow. Richard Sales and Marty Pinkston come into the station after a laid back ride.
The cooks, Roger Harnish and Mike Uhrich with Marcel Uhrich as product control with Karl Losely and Roberta behind them. Marcel had a digital thermometer and checked the temperature of each piece of chicken for the right temperature.
Austin at the controls with Amy, Logan, Ethan and John at Horrendous enjoying a ride after supper. Rick Nagy running the GP38 with Ron Trenhaile and an unknown passenger behind him.
Richard and Virginia as they switch over to the mainline from a Branch Line run. Logan switching my NKP caboose behind the Snoopy train as we head for the turntable.
