7.26.09 Public Run


Frank Foti waiting for the last few engineers to assemble to hold the engineers and conductors meeting prior to the run. Rex Shriver pulls his train into the station getting ready to load passengers.
Scott Hewis waits for the conductor for his train before he can start his run. Ken Brooks leaving the station with a full trainload of passengers.
Frank moves East Wind up to the loading area under a cloud of smoke to load passengers. Frank's train is loaded and ready to make his first run for the day with Steve Zaken as his conductor.
Behind the station Josh Frank is running George Mett's Hit-N-Miss engine on the Orchard Loop. Bill Deptowicz is riding with Ethan Deptowicz on the track behind the station with George's other train.
Ken Vendlinger departs the station and Robbi Haines is the passenger counter for the start of the run. Mike Harkleroad running the GP38 with Linda Harris as conductor leave the station.
Wally Pausch behind his Morris diesel leaving on his run. Richard Sales with the Hogwarts Express electric cab and his load of happy passengers.
Skip Frank tends to his engine as Roy Harris finishes loading his train with passengers. Roy and Dave Foster loading the trains as Ken waits for the "All Aboard!" call to start his next run.
Bill hanging on to Ethan as he controls the Hit-N-Miss engine on the Orchard Loop, Ethan just needs longer arms. Frank just passing through Thorn on his way back into the station.
Richard Sales with his Hogwarts Express passing through the frame work of our new covered bridge we are building. Frank opens the throttle on East Wind and starts the next run with another full load.
Skip just passed through the covered bridge frame work heading for Zip Junction. Frank crossing the bridge with his load of passengers and starting to climb the gentle grade up to Zip Junction..
Skip's engine "Lynn" with a chuff of exhaust from the stack moves out away from the loading area as Scott watches. Ken pulls up into the space vacated by Skip as Scott's train is loaded by Roy.
Edith Hacker helps at the station with the unloading of the trains, watching as Scott coasts to a stop. Richard with his passengers heading for Cider Bridge on the way back to the station.
Dave asking the riders how many in their group as Roy waits to load as Skip pulls up to the loading zone. Dave having a good laugh at the loading area as Mike watches behind him.

Tom Pappas passing through Zip Junction with his passengers will soon be at Horrendous. Ken just passed through Truss Bridge and starting the grade up Mackey's Run with Don Speidel as conductor at the rear.

Ken is all smiles as usual for the cameraman as his electric powered train heads for the Truss Bridge. Skip coasting down the grade from Gulch as he crosses Bridge #6.
Wally following after Skip at Hilde Hill as he makes his way down the grade. Jerry cresting the top of the hill at Hilton as he starts the grade down to Fern with John Koontz as his conductor.
Mike running the Hogwarts Express as he approaches Hilton. Tom at Hemlock with his charge of passengers will soon start the same grade down to Fern.
