The station at Clydes which is where our work session will be today. Richard Sales is replacing a couple of ties at one of the switches near the station. |

We brought 150 ties and Marty Pinkston is off to the side at an area that we just replaced a few. George Metts watches Neal Smith as he puts down new ballast at the ties we just replaced. |

Dick Clark is digging out one of the bad ties and Neal is behind him putting down ballast. I wanted to get a picture of Edith Hacker working so this is how she posed....lesson #1 don't tell anyone you are taking their picture. |

Caught Edith when she wasn't looking, pulling out more weeds. Back at the station near 5 p.m. I caught Clyde Bleil, Roger Harnish and Chan Bleil relaxing while waiting for supper to be served. |

George Davidson and Karen Studd were relaxing before supper. A view of the crew that was growing in numbers as supper time approached on this very hot day with little breeze to cool you off. |

The work party was smaller this year but we dug out and replaced the 150 ties before it got too dark and the mosquitos tried to carry you off. |
