Club Run - 8/16/14

One of our members, Bob Craig, has been working on a diesel powered switcher using an actual diesel engine. He had it sitting on the siding by the station with the engine just lumbering along at idle.
Heading for the station as he nears the end of his run, Dick Clark with his SW1500 with Ron Trenhaile riding behind, approach the photographer. Bob checking out his engine as he was working on the idle point with it running.
The engine he's using is a Lombardini that was taken from an old car. Marie and Ted Nyland on their pair of interurban's as they make their way back into the station nearing the end of their run.
Ted and Marie back at the station pose for a picture with club members seated at the tables. Bill Deptowicz takes over the controls of the interurban and is about to depart the station as Judy Oscker takes the picture.
With Greg Guy standing by the table, Bill with Marie seated behind and Cory and Carley Greg on the second unit are about to leave the station. As I waited for a block signal at Horrendous, Frank and Lois Smoley with their train pass by on the mainline with Steve Zaken riding behind them
A little later I caught Frank and Lois with Judy Oscker riding behind them as they passed through Horrendous. When I walked back up to the station Ted and Marie were talking to some of the members about the light turnout for our club run today.
A few minutes later Frank, Lois and Judy rolled into the station behind his gas powered switcher and Frank is all smiles. Running eastbound towards the station Scott Hewis gives a wave with his passenger and Paul Emch riding in the gon.
Carley Guy at the controls of the GP38 with her dad Greg sitting behind her to monitor her actions as she runs the big engine on the mainline. A view of Carley with Greg and Edith Hacker about to board before they depart from the station.
Cory Guy is at the controls of the GP38 as his dad gives him instructions before departing with a loaded train. Bob and Donna Craig along with Ron Trenhaile standing to the left of the station as Cory advances the shifter on the engine and starts to depart the station.
