Rick and Bill Deptowicz make the run to unload the trainload of dirt on the Branch Line between HIgh Creek and Filmor. Back at the station for another trainload of dirt which will be repeated many times today. |

The pile is getting smaller and Edith Hacker has joined in, just can't keep her from digging especially with all this loose dirt. Changed the dumping location to the end of the new yard and that's Dick Clark acting as a Hewlet Loading machine. |

The progress so far and you can see that the large dirt pile is gone as the crew cleans up along the grade wall. This is a good example of many hands make light work and you can see the many small roots that have to be removed. |

Ken Brooks and Rick watch as Karl wrestles with a tree root that has grown under the tie wall. Momentous day as Robbi Haines is eating her own food she prepared for the crew, she usually doesn't...Hummmmmm, makes you wonder. |

The other half of the work crew enjoying the dinner Robbi prepared for us before we get back ot work. We removed a section of the rail fence, put down stones as stops and Karl backed his truck down the grade. |

The truck in position and Karl will lift the bed so he can use the slide gate in the tail gate. Dick Mackey watches as Ken moves the ballast in the wheelborrow that Paul Emch is holding as Karl controls the flow with the gate. |

Ken shovels some stone on top of the conduit running under the track to protect it from the wheelborrow loads. Ken and Roy Harris are standing by the buried conduit as Dick moves off with another load of stone. |
