9.10.05 Past Members Memorial Club Run

It was good to see Frank Russell out and about with his newly converted electric powered interurban. Dave Foster on his speeder with George Metts along for the ride at right.
Rex Shriver at the diamond at Gulch with his switcher. Bob Beardslee with his steamer taking Rachel, his wife, for a ride as Ron Trenhaile waits on the speeder behind for the main to clear.
Skip Frank leaving the station with Ken Vendlinger behind him at the station. Ron Trenhaile taking Daves' speeder around probably trying to decide where the signal posts should be installed.
Roger Harnish winding up the spring drive on his American...just kidding. Robbi Haines behind tender with Roger and his brother Dave Harnish alongside the engine.
Frank taking a break from running sitting in a siding by the station. Rachel Beardslee, Olga Deptowicz and Lori Caruso at the station.
The LSLS Photographer Bill Deptowicz with his mother Olga on the other side of the camera lens. Roy Harris and George Metts in conversation with Sharon Warner, Kitty Shriver, Lori and Dave behind them.
Skip Frank with Bill taking the picture over his shoulder head down the mainline. George Davidsons electric switcher sitting on the siding at the station.

As we were approaching Justin Tyme Bridge I caught Judson Elliott with the GP38 crossing the bridge on Branch Line. We passed Mark Ross on his Galloping Goose as we approached Zip Junction.

Valery, Mandy, Don Atkins, Linda Harris and Edith Hacker just past Zip Junction. As we came into the station Judson was on the Orchard by-pass track pulling in behind Mark and his Goose.
Looks like a traffic jamb is starting to take place behind the station. Olga, Melissa and Jesse Warner with Lori, Kitty and Sharon sit in the shade of the station.
Dick Clark starting up the grade on Branch Line with a trainload of passengers. It's getting close to supper time so the trains are starting to pull in near the coaling stipple and water tower.

The Memorial Run had a good gathering, the weather was almost perfect and as always sharing the day with members and friends made it worthwhile.
