George Metts and George Davidson discuss the light fixtures that were installed. George Woodling and Dick Clark reworking the track on the grade above Gulch.
George replacing a tie as we worked in the rain. The trees overhead prevented us from getting really wet as Dick gets the track gages from the work train. It's dark in the woods.
A kink had developed at the rail joint and the track was out of gage. We removed the existing screws and regaged the track. Dick bent the rail clips over and George was ready to refasten the rail down to the ties.
Dick at "Sharp" laying on the ground and sighting along the top of the rail as George prys it up out of the ballast as needed to level the track.
Bill Deptowicz at the gravel pile with another load of ballast for "Sharp". It finally stopped raining. George tamping the ballast in around the ties.
Frank Foti, Ron Trenhaile, Bill Bodemer, Dick Clark and Jerry Bell finish the work on the switch rebuild at "Zip Junction" crossing.
The section of bridge taken off of "Cider Bridge" was moved just below "Horrendous" next to its' new location. Bridge abutment location will have to be dug out. Stakes show centerline of newly proposed route and bridge.
Jerry Bell using the chop saw to cut rail in the switch shed with Pam Znidar behind, holding the rail. Night shot with the new station lights glistening off the rail.
The new station lights as seen from the walk access in front of the station. They really are bright compared to the old lighting.
