12.06.14 LSLS Christmas Party

A picture of the Christmas cake before cutting which will be our after dinner dessert. A view of the front table of the gifts that were brought by the members and guests for the Chinese raffle.
Another view of the same table with the gifts. We're starting to have a good turnout as the party room starts filling up with members and guests for our Lake Shore Live Steamers Christmas Party.
Ray and Maggie Dellmore sitting in the foreground with Audrey and Chester Roberts talking to Karl Losely. A view from the front of the room looking towards the back, where the food will be served, as the members and guests fill up the chairs at the available tables.
Another view as the attendees enjoy some conversation at different tables and amongst themselves at their tables. Steve Tomko tried to duck out of the picture as he walked across in front of the photographer and behind him Ken Brooks enjoys some libation.
A view of the gathering as I stand at the back of the room and look forward of those present. At least everyone seemed to be in the festive mood for the season.
Mike Uhrich talks with Audrey and Chet Roberts as we wait for dinner to be served. A view of six past presidents of LSLS and our present one, Andy Yedlick, Frank Foti, Karl Losely, Dick Mackey, Paul Emch our current, Ken Brooks and Mike Uhrich who were present for tonight's dinner.
Sally Hewis, Barbara and Paul Emch, Scott Hewis, Wally and Emmy Pausch enjoying each other's company. Kathy Losely, Mike and Roberta Uhrich, Andy and Julie Yedlick with Karl Losely are seated at this table enjoying their conversation.
At this table we have John and Trish Koontz, Marie and Ted Nyland along with Belinda and Ken Brooks all smiling as they are enjoying themselves. This table has all members, Jennifer Zorko, Anna Zorko, Lois and Frank Smoley with Paul Zorko enjoying their salad.
Sitting together at this table, Audrey and Chet Roberts, Jeff and Cindy Klein along with Doris and Lou DeLembo taking time out for the picture. At this table we have Maggie Dellmore, Cathy and Dick Mackey, Phyllis and Don Speidel with Maggie's husband Ray not wanting to look at the camera.
Here we have Mary Howard, Dave Woldman, Valerie Bilchak, John and Dee Spandu along with Bill Besselman smiling for the picture. This table is all smiles as we have Pam Znidar, Ron Trenhaile, Kitty Shriver, Steve Snyder, Deb Bodemer and her daughter Julie Snyder.
At this table we have Frank Foti, Donna Tomko, Anna Foti, Steve Tomko, Diane Hopp and Matthew Tomko. Here a few members of the track crew, Edith Hacker, Dick Clark, Rick Nagy, Mike Harkleroad, Judy Oscker and Bill Deptowicz who was on the other side of the lens for change.
The serving for the main course of food started and they called us up by tables. A view from the front of the room looking towards the back at those that are in the serving line as some enjoy their food is others wait to be called up to be served.
Steve Snyder serves up a piece of cake as Karl starts taking them back to dispense among the tables. Karl continues the task of delivering the cake for members and guests.
Some views looking back amongst the members and guests that have come to enjoy tonight's festivities after a pretty cold days run for the public at the track earlier. Just trying to get everyone present in the pictures.
A view from the left side of the room taking towards the right from the front with Kitty and Karl talking to members at one table and dispensing cake. Steve Tomko gives me a thumbs up as I take his picture from this vantage point.
Karl started the drawing for the Chinese raffle by calling out the first number as Mike looks to see who is the winner of the draw. Mike continues to make the trips through the room delivering the gifts to the winners.
Mike hands out another gift as Karl draws as his wife Kathy holds the bowl with the tickets. The table is starting to look a little sparse with gifts as they were in three groupings "hers", "his" and "either", as categories.
Roberta holds up a knit hat that she won in the raffle as Kathy draws another number. Well, it looks like people are happy with the results of the raffle and Belinda gives a wave from her table. We had a good time and thanks to all for attending.
